Vacuum Excavation Case Study: Relocating Cables

With plans in place to improve the surrounding roads to ease congestion, a hospital hired the CSE team to identify a number of underground cables, relocate to accommodate a new road layout and be installed to provide the hospital with a smoother service.
The underground cables were located and identified through the use of surveys and technical plans. It was agreed with the customer that a no-dig, Vacuum Excavation approach was to be taken in order to reduce the risk of striking live services.
Within a matter of hours, the Vacuum Excavator provided a quick, efficient and safe excavation to expose the cables ready for their relocation.
